TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE (7/9/25)

This Sunday, we will be able to observe the Total Lunar Eclipse, visible here in our part of the world.
The Total Lunar Eclipse is always a sight to behold.
"In South Africa, the 7 September, 2025, total lunar eclipse will begin with the penumbral phase at 5:28 PM SAST, with totality starting at 7:30 PM SAST and ending at 8:52 PM SAST, culminating in the overall eclipse ending at 10:55 PM SAST. This "blood moon" event will provide a spectacular sight as the Moon passes completely through Earth's shadow, turning a deep red."
The peak of the event, Maximum Eclipse, will be at 20H11.
Enjoy the Eclipse if you will be watching it as well :-)

I might miss it. My schedule is totally eclipsed.

It was Beautiful. Sometimes, with all the turmoil in this world these days, we forget that it is still a Very Beautiful Place. We just need to make time to enjoy the wonders it has for all of us to behold.
One of my favourite poems by WILLIAM HENRY DAVIES comes to mind ...

And stare as long as sheep and cows:
