Thanks to everyone else who commented and can understand that I was directly referring to @curious878's comment about it being something you randomly choose and saying that people who are different are not valid. That was my trigger.

So to go back to my comment, I was just trying to say that no one would choose an identity that would make life more difficult. It is as natural as being born with a certain eye colour. It just is and it's very difficult to go through, even though through time and work, you learn to Navigate around it.

I wasn't always so open and before I accepted myself, I lived as a "female." But how I identified disgusted me for a very long time, before I could accept who I am. I did everything to try not be me. Until the day came, where someone loved me enough to allow me a safe space to be me and eventually I learned to love myself.

The other thing I'd like to mention is that I completely respect people's preferences. I would never try sway someone into something and I agree, we should be more open about who we are. People do have the right to decide if that is for them or not. That's why I am so bold about it on here.

My comment was not an attack on anyone. But a statement of the facts.

Lastly, you may have a preference and you may have been mislead, but women who identify as women, no matter where they are in their transition are still women.

Some trans people don't want to transition physically but they identify as women, are still women. Whether this sits well with you or not, it is a fact and we should show all people respect regardless of our opinions.

Also, when speaking, think for one moment, when I speak of this, how would this impact another?

When you make note of a trans ladies big hands, how would she feel? Everything inside of this person is screaming that she is a woman and society has decided that only women should have small hands and they need to look and behave a certain way.

Well guess what? I know of a lot of cisgender women with big hands too.

And I know a lot of cisgender men with tiny hands too.

All I am asking is to be mindful of how we speak because it could harm others and not just those of the lgbtq community.

this was my worry when I was in Thailand, thinking I picked up a girl but once in the room to find out I brought back a trans.

and the strangest thing for me was when I started talking to someone and perhaps they got any sense I was interested, the first thing they would tell me is, they are lady boy.

and you have to respect that in the sense they are being open, honest with you and let you know what you are getting in to. because of never picked up a lady boy. they never come across as deceptive in anyway.

but 9 out 10 I can spot them a mile away. it's the 1 out of 10 I am worried about but as I have learnt, they are pretty open.

the horror stories in my view is when too much alcohol is in volved. again never a problem.
