Never kept track of spending...but now capped my punting budget at R2k a month.... Have a daughter to educate in 3 years time eish....

I first punted with a R1k budget
And that spiraled outa control very quickly.....
Was soon spending upwards of R2k a day sometimes
Changed withdrawal limits- and had other creative ways of limiting my funds- and now I have curbed the limit back to R1.5k a month
It's really scary when you add up the money you spend on punting
It is my hobby - so fuck it- done something with my money that I enjoy
And that spiraled outa control very quickly.....

Most punters who do at least a booking a week will drop about 50-60k a year. I think that's what I spend more or less,mwhich is okay for a fun hobby, I guess. Never really did the maths, but if I add up the punts I've had since i started and times by an average rate of 600-800 bucks per, it's a big fucking number...
