That's a difficult situation...

If you already know you're HIV-positive before entering a relationship, being completely honest is the right thing to do. It's a matter of basic respect and people deserve the chance to make informed decisions based on openness and transparency.

If you contracted HIV from someone else during a relationship, I would still hope that you choose to disclose it to your partner. The idea of being unknowingly exposed to a serious virus is deeply upsetting and could be devastating...

HIV is, unfortunately, a reality, and it can affect anyone so this isn't about judgment. But keeping it a secret isn't fair to others.

Always use protection outside of your relationship, limit or avoid skin-to-skin contact and fluid exchange with SPs, and test regularly. Many STIs don't show symptoms, so you may not even realise you or someone else has one until weeks, months or even years later.

Exactly why I feel really anxious each time I have to take that test. It is from the fact I could have been exposed to it through contact with an SP who may or may not know that they are +ve and not by evil intention pass it on through one of the "remote chance" ways in which it can be transmitted. Although we are all super careful you really cant be sure until -ve results pop up on that white thingy. At each -ve test I always swear to quit punting LOL but eish!

As a closing remark I return to punting as I then look on the bright side and my other head thinks well you can add SPs X Y and Z onto the "all clear list" for next booking(s) (yeah of course window periods and all to kick in) but it does give increased level of added comfort during return bookings. One reason why I try stick to a few tried SPs. Not that it would make any difference but I think I would want to know who "possibly infected" me if ever that were to happen. The real shitshow will be explaining that at home! Fuck!

Pls practice safe sex outside your regular partner/wife. Though not foolproof but thats what we have right now, condoms.

I never ask for and have never been offered any Bareback. And I maintain this. No matter how strong the urge is or how willing the girl is, not to mention hot body and beautiful face as well.

100% agreed which is why it makes me anxious with each test. I have never indulged in bareback and never will for exactly this - staying safe & making sure I stay healthy! There is always that tiny worry at the back of my mind that what if. We do get exposed here on ESS so even though I always know technically I will be clean I cant help still get anxious until I actually see my -ve results.

It is probably the real reason I equally get anxious to book a new SP. It makes me a few bookings to fully relax around a new SP at times I eventually bolt and go back to those I have known for a bit and am comfortable around.

PREP could be your solution. Talk your doctor about it.

This is why I get anxious each time I take the test.
I have to start getting chilled about it as I have to take that test literally every year (for work purposes). It's comforting always being clean (negative) but also scary in case something happened along the way and that has changed. That is maybe why PREP is almost a must if you are ESA-active.

Lol I don't know why it is always scary hahahaha,I think it's normal for one to be nervous.

I am actually nervous right now,I just received an email from my Dr saying.I should come for bloodwork before she books me for my operation again,I'm not sure if i am afraid of bloodwork or operation hahahaha.
