Did you know that 90%+ of Game of Thrones was pirated? HBO was fully aware of this, and supported and facilitated this. Why? Because those 90% of pirates gave it the cred and made the 10% go pay for it through legal channels like DStv and that 10% made more money for them than if they had shut down the piracy like they done previously with other shows.
Just that I'd share that titbit.
