It is a false sense of security and anyway, once a punter has been to you he knows your number and he could "ring your bell" anytime!

Lol not really if I don't see your lorry at my gate from my Windows I simply won't open easy as that.

It works for me and the punter that visit me ;)

@daporra, I share your sentiment. I tried the "call me when you in my street" over the years and even then you will still get no shows or else you get the guy who pitches, but who sits across the road wanking. I often used to get guys pitching up month's after the fact, banging on my gate and hooting, despite doing the "call me when you in my street" thing when he first called months ago.

So ja, I have stopped doing that years ago and instead give people the full address when they make appointments and I found that the ratio of no shows and wankers, are the same as when I did not give the full address.

If the forum has taught me one lesson it's this very thing. Same findings as Sybil.

Its like a rite of passage for every punter to have this happen. Its realy kak if you drive more than an hour to get to the street/venue and either no answer or "the lady just stepped out for an allnighter" in the case of naaier venues who take you for a p0es and make you drive all the way thinking you gonna see the gal you wanted just to "offer" another gal to you.

Most frustrating thing happened recently, when in a new town and was told to come to house number 7 and road numbers were 1 3 5 9 11 and no number 7.The road ran across another intersection and house number 7 was after number 41 :-(
