I also prefer reading a book, to watching a movie. Nevertheless, I have a not too small movie collection. I don't really have a favourite movie, but some of the more memorable ones, three of which have already been mentioned, are:
The Godfather
Basic Instinct
Star Trek First Contact
The Good The Bad and The Ugly and
The Sound Of Music.
Then, for me, the best series of all time, was "Rich Man Poor Man". A close second, was "Star Trek, The Next Generation".
