I get my Kingsley sugar free at the bottle store and okes are buying like there will never be alcohol ever again. At Tops guys were fetching taxis at the rank and loading it with beers. Yanni of Benoni Superspar has prob not had it this good since the relaunch several years ago. 0
Now my view was that when people drink they become careless and a danger to themselves and others. Taken in the context of corona virus and lockdown it makes more sense than anything else. Also people like to drink with others. Well that kinda ties up with being careless.

But what is the difference if people have a year's supply of alcohol at home when lock down starts, to the bottle stores remaining open... maybe this measure will help after 3 weeks if all their booze is finished but cant get more

Well i'd say a lot of people don't have a years supply at home.... that is why they're rushing to the bottle stores.....

Ha ha. That's what I mean. They will have a year's supply when lock down starts.. so is that any different than having the stores stay open
