I recently posted something here about the cheapest punt anyone has ever had and I shared about my cheapest one. Whenever I think about it I realise that at the time I had a problem but I didn't realise it at the time. Convincing a sweet girl (who was likely new to the business) to let me punt for R50 (around 2015/2016) is something that amazes me to this day. I had absolutely no business punting when I was that broke. Today I realised that my last punt was in 2023 and I only come onto this website to be on the forum, even searching for girls in my radius is no longer interesting nor exciting so I guess I've, probably, overcome my punting addiction. Before I get to my question I must add that a punting addiction is not the same as a sex addiction (at least in my opinion), so....

When did you realise that you have a punting addiction?

I think I just commented on another one as well warning a newbie, that this game is so easily addictive. "You have the money and you can get a great time with a beautiful girl" - the transaction ends up being so easy that you do it again and again. Next thing, it's all you do! Worse is when you build up a great chemistry with a SP.

Personally, I'm in my peak in terms of addiction to punting. Been a member here for long, but only started being 'active' in the last 6 months and really enjoying - forums, reviews and then actually booking.

Like any addiction, if you don't keep it in check - it will control you.

I think the thing that helps me is the fact the the process of setting up a session, especially with new SPs,(reaching out, finding one that's available, committing the time to drive there and back) is a big mental blocker for me. I literally have to make myself try new SPs on a regular basis (usually once every 2 months) but outside that I much prefer to go back to someone i already know so that I know what I'm getting and what to expect (usually every 2 weeks).

My main "defense" is probably that I just keep busy most of the time. Don't have time to commit to more punting. Much like how we make teenagers do sports to "keep out of trouble". I do think that would like to be able to do more though. You only get to live once after all.

I think i realised im a punting addict when figured out I can't go a day without at least checking this and other sites. Mainly this site. Im on it at least 5-6 times a day. I've drastically cut down on actual bookings but I used to book a lot.

For me it is when I realise I have some money left over after having planned to spend it on say car repairs and they come in cheaper than I anticipated then I am like okay that money was already spent so might as well...

Addiction starts to build if there is great chemistry with a regular SP as it does not feel like "booking an escort". it feels more like you are helping out a "friend with benefits".

The mature SPs often understand this well and throw in things like spoiling you to a time extension on your birthday, surprise FH from a MG or surprise greek. Then you are hooked to her (love it when I get an SP like that).

From the point that you realise that it is just as easy and shameless as booking any other kind of professional service.

And that all the stereotypes that you heard about those involved in this industry are completely false or at worst grossly exaggerated.
