Witchcraft belief is quite widespread and far beyond SA. Look up Alistair Crowley.
In India, the far east countries as well as Africa there is alot of witchcraft still happening.
Menstrual blood is used including items of a persons clothing and hair. A babies nappy can also be used depending on what the purpose of the spell is.
Its quite insidious because at some point it starts to involve getting body parts and killing someone. Example a black person who is albino. Maybe an indian woman who is virgin. A young baby a few days old. Raping a young girl or baby. Doesn't matter whether you or I beleive it. What matters is they beleive it and so will commit horrible things to achieve their desires.

So what's different between selling your body and selling your panty. When you sell your body, it's more than your panty
I'm a coloured lady and I would never sell my underwear or leave it around for anyone to touch. It's a cultural thing which I will not break. Guess it's the same for African ladies.
