Why a sport massage

Because it targets movement, deals with issues affecting performance, and thus pinpoints the required recovery therapy.

Sport massaging falls in various categories and, depending on ones reason for having a sport massage it could be

Sport massage pre an event

Or

Post an event.

Maintenance.

Rehabilitation.

Why pre and post sport massage.

Pre = warming muscles by increasing circulation thus greater ability for the "stretch and pull" of muscles engaged( flexibility).

Post = reducing stress on muscles due to energy ask and, relaxing the nervous system.

The common factor being prevention of injury and optimum performance.

Each sporting discipline engages a different set of muscles and thus to understand physicality and physiology to apply therapy that shall be relieving , healing and longterm.

Looking fwd to assisting with debilitating movement impacting on ones wellbeing and lifestyle.

Targeting the correct muscle set impeding on movement and flexibility.

Pain can be referred from the problem area.

Sharing information and answering questions leads to greater understanding as to what may be required.

A medical sport massage is NOT a beauty relaxing massage one may receive from a somatologist.

It's purpose is to relieve, release and heal.

Plus...a follow up is usually required to treat other muscles affected , leading to longterm positive effects.

Looking fwd to being of assistance.

Apathy is an addiction.

When we think about addictions, the last thing we would imagine is an addiction, is apathy.

That listless feeling.
Day in.
Day out.
Putting it down to circumstance and not something one can change or is responsible for.

Trying to live up to expectations, affected by criticism and the insecurity of what next. Comparisons.

All seems out of ones control.

Thus to talk about priorities and choices.

Life is dynamic and is affected by the ever evolving fast paced world we live in.

Society is fickle. What was popular yesterday no longer features in a few days.

The desensitisation .
To be kind, to be caring is seen as a weakness.
To stand up for ones right makes you a pariah, a troublemaker.

And thus to pull back into a zone , a bubble of "nothingness".

So how does one address this very debilitating addiction of apathy?

It starts with YOU.

It starts with decluttering.

It starts with being honest with self even if heavy to face.

It starts with no fingers pointing out as well as no judgement of self.

It is not about drastic changes or upheaval. It is about finding that self and in doing that, mapping a road fwd, inclusive of ones loved ones, fruitful and rewarding.

Longevity.

I look fwd to YOU and looking to unburden much that was never yours to bear.
