@beachlife818, my personal opinion is that personal/life details about a service provider, is okay if she is still advertising here and if she posts said details herself, but should not be posted by other people nor discussed on the public forum, if she is no longer advertising here.

From experience I can tell you that it is not nice to have your personal details plastered on the forum by other people, when you no longer advertise here, because when you stop advertising here, it is most times for a very good reason: for instance we maybe want to start afresh, maybe start a new career, maybe got married etc, and it is very difficult and stressful when people continue to discuss your personal life and details on the forum, without your permission.

So yes, I support the "right to be forgotten" for sure!

This is an open forum and anything should be allowed unless it infringes on ones privacy, safety or family etc. If Mr X says Mary is now running a spa in Bloem, that will/could possibly bring her privacy into question and she might find herself back here if anyone susses out who she is and destroy her business etc.

Just be mindful of what you post and the effects it could potentially have on that persons life if the info you share gets to the wrong parties.
