A couple of days ago I was having a bite in Sandton and I collapsed/fainted; with a total loss of memory.(I had only 2 beers)Fortunately Diablo takes care of me,but gurney ride,red lights,casualty,blood tests and scans and I must add a good few grand later all tests results are normal.The guys in white coats can only speculate that I my drink/food was spiked.The good news is that I could live for another 100yrs.
So guys and girls be aware and if anyone has had a similar experience,please let me know.

Hi Caligula69.

That is horrible. A lady friend of mine also went through the same thing at a very popular place in Centurion. She is not a big drinker and half way through her 2nd drink (bottled) she had the same that you had. She was there on her own and luckily on her way out to her car she met someone that drove her to the hospital.
This is not the 1st time it happened to someone I know at the specific place.

Maybe you should provide the appropriate respect and refer to your protector as 'El Diablo', calling 'him/' Diablo might have pissed him and this was your warning.

*parody post but glad you survived your ordeal I haven't experienced it but helped someone who had the same experience it's frightening!*

It has happened to me twice.

I was at a night club in Jhb town (early 80's), felt the same, very disorientated and dizzy, tried to go upstairs to find my friend as I wanted to go home, only to "wake up" as I unlocked my apartment door 2 days later, still dressed in the same clothing. Up until today, I have no idea where I have been or what I have been up to for those 2 days. Its a complete blank. Last thing I remember, is that I was trying to go up the stairs in the nightclub. Btw, I did not drink alcohol, I only drank appletiser juice. My friend told me afterwards that she suspected my juice was spiked.

It happened again, about 10 years ago, but because of my previous experience, this time I knew there was a possibility that my drink was spiked. I went out on my own for a bite to eat. Turned my back on my glass for only a few mins, when I spoke to the person next to me. I had to go see a client afterwards, so finished my single drink, just as my taxi arrived. Got in the car and a few mins later I was completely disorientated and felt I was going to pass out at any minute. I realized then what had happened and I told the taxi driver I think my drink was spiked, told him to stop, got outside car and made myself sick (gross I know) and then told taxi to take me home. I messaged my client on the way home, to cancel the booking. Got home and just made it to my bed in time, passed out. No memory loss this time though, probably cause I made my self sick.

Needless to say, ever since the last experience, I now do not take my eyes of my beverages for a second, no matter where I am or who I am with.
