Well... life decided to give me a slightly chaotic birthday gift this week.

The WG who was renting my spare room moved out while I was at work and apparently decided she was opening a small home dcor store on the way out... because she took everything.....

And when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING.

Curtains
Cutlery
Towels
Fridge
Plates
Glasses
Bedding
Fan
Fairy lights
Dressing table
Shelves
Washing machine
TV
Record player

and worst of all .... My favourite book!

At this point I half expected the door handles to be missing too.

So here I am a few days before my birthday basically discovering that I now need to refurnish my entire house like I'm playing The Sims on hard mode.

To add some extra spice to the situation... my glasses were also broken, and since I'm legally blind without them I'm currently navigating life like a confused bat until I get new ones sorted.

Lesson learned: sometimes living alone really is the most peaceful option.

So if anyone has:
* spare household basics
* random furniture
* a bed so I don't have to sleep like a backpacker
* or even just a funny survival story to make me feel less cursed this week

I'm all ears.

Trading welcome... apparently that's the only currency I still have left in this house.

Anyway... if this is the universe testing my sense of humour before my birthday on Friday, I'd like to formally request a slightly easier level.

FML... but we move.
