Where have all the Specials gone?

Last weeks discussion around the economy and its adverse impact on our punters and service providers had a really positive spin-off for many. It seemed like Christmas in October with a host of SPs offering great specials like reduced rates extended hours,buy one get one free, "but thats not all, you also get blablabla" etc. The debate has ended and so has Christmas. Specials are dead - long live specials.
