So glad I am not a "liberal" by those definitions. And sorry, but that's all it is. Definitions of humanity versus a dictionary, by how we allow society to define us! Cast upon us! Not by our choice?

Why do we need labels?

Isn't it enough to just be a human? And believe in ubasic humanity?

In answer to your direct request for a response from me.

Lawlessness....now that is a discussion on its own and if i may, my post was more about the inconsistensies of human behaviour.
And yes. These inconsistencies can lead to lawlessness.
Emotions..... Manipulation through emotion. How many of us can step outside our heart .....is it possible....to choose and be selfless?
Is it possible to look at the bigger picture and not paint and see oneself in all conversations held?
Manipulators cleverly weeding out the insecure of low self-esteem....making them followers of whatever.
Philosophers...i love them...they never say anything...but always say something.
Trial and error....without it how do we know what is right and what is wrong.
But.
Then again.
Whose right and whose wrong are we basing universally accepted standards and rules on?..... To encourage the growth of a progressive at peace society?

Even love...should be simple....even that....is tarnished by humans and their inconsistencies.

SoS. This conversation has many layers...and i could sit forever meandering through the many twists and turns....as is obvious from the comments made by many a contributor thus far.

One day, time might allow us that scholars pleasure.

to all who have posted thus far....thank u for keeping your anger in check....adding instead of subtracting....and teaching and philosophising with me.

Matrix or no matrix, imo fact is that the majority of Earth's people belong to the herd, which is indeed being manipulated wrt to their actions and reactions. The puppeteers pull the strings and the puppets dance to their masters tune.....

Liberalism.
I have been accused of being a liberal for not fitting the mould in many instances.
I have been accused of being too rigid and self-centred for i adhere to the mould in many instances.
I am not a woman liber and do not believe in a woman fighting to be equal to her man yet....dare a man be unfair in his judgement of a woman and not a acknowledge her rights as an equal human being. (.....waiting ......wink.....let us see how many understand that concept of mine).
I acknowledge men being the stronger sex but, want to wipe away the tears off his cheek when the pain is unbearable and love him more for being human.

Liberalism....a term.....as has been said....a definition.....used by many in their endevours corrupt and destroying.
And then for some.....used to bring about change in the most postive of ways.

As to me. Am i a liberal....i truly dont know....let us see what the day brings....and who shall sit in judgement of me.

You are 100% correct in my opinion. It is definitely the root.

Good behaviour is punished while Bad behaviour is rewarded. Happens around us everyday.

Maybe the human race has not matured enough yet to be handed a powerful gift like "Human Rights"? Maybe people are still too irresponsible to be in total control of this gift and we still need trustworthy leaders to guide us how to use it in a Constructive way?

Sadly a lot of the time this gift gets used and abused for selfish agendas by corrupt individuals.
