Morning all
After a kak rugby match...
So the missus just got her cell phone bill at a cool R130 000.00
Someone opened 5 new accounts on her account.
MTN says its her problem???

Open a fraud case, mtn must prove these contracts where legit (which they obviously cannot)
They will have to cancel and remove off your wife's account.
The only downfall is that this will effect her credit scoring for a short period of time.

ICASA is the regulatory body for all telecommunications and broadcasting matters.
Cell phone networks in particular, act very swiftly if you lodge a complaint with them.
Googe search ICASA and follow the online procedure for complaints. You should see positive results soon enough

Had that happen last year.
Also 5 contracts.
Mtn is pretty useless when it comes to this and were very unhelpful.
You have to open fraud case nearest to when u found out.
You have to keep an eye on bank acc, and constantly reverse the charges. After about 5 months hopefully its sorted.

I canceled my contract, I just buy data and airtime. Contracts are a ripp off.
