Here I sit in Dubai waiting for my flight back home
Reading this goes back to the last call I had with Nic - see you in the week for a coffee. Never happened

Cherish the memories you had with her, and know that you changed her life and allowed her to be stronger.

Know that you helped make her life better by getting out of the business and helped her build a stable living.
