There will always be those against it either because they truly dont trust no one, not even themselves or they had been suckered by one of those that will always be out there ruining the experience for everyone by being dishonest and scamming and stealing.

And then on the other side..

You will find ladies that had been working on a deposit basis only for years without drama and guys that had paid deposits to multiple ladies over time with no drama.

I honestly think as a grown up you should trust your own gut when it comes to situations like this. BUT... do your due diligence and read forum, and reviews, talk to other punters that had visited the lady in question and engage in conversation with the lady. You will soon know if you should or should not by doing all of the above.

Very happy to pay a deposit to a reputable lady. Loads of positive reviews, several years on these purple pages, good interaction on contact, or a recommendation from a regular (yes some ladies are generous like that) will make me comfortable to pay a deposit. Any of those missing, then I would rather pass.

Have not (yet) been burned and my trust has been repaid many times over.

To pay a deposit to a lady that you never met in person for a first time booking is like paying a Nigerian R1000 via Western union to get a UPS package that you know nothing about.

I have considered asking for deposits. I think what should be taken in consideration is the lady on her own merit.

In my case I could count as an established sp. I've been on this platform well over a decade (different profiles) I work from a permanent residential area. The house I live in is also where my salon is situated where I work from.

I have a google maps profile, a webpage, I'm on here, redvelvet. Chances of me running away with a clients money is impossible as I have done everything in my marketing to foster trust.

A lady that's new in industry, working from a guesthouse, venue ect.... Another story as the place she works from she does not own and also don't live from.

I fully agree with this comment.
Do your homework. Look at reviews. If the persons reviews are all over the place. She might not even be at the adress she gave you. House ads on esa dont go anywhere. We always in one place.
The girls come and go.
Ive got clients who pays money into our account not as a retainer but just for future bookings. Ive even got clients that makes deposits here and there so when they book an overnight its not so heavy on there wallets.
You could say they lay buy lol

Have never done so yet and would need a good reason to do so and only to a SP I know and have been with and trust.

1) Obviously on a first visit don't pay a deposit. You might get there and not like the venue or she might not look quite like the pictures. Whatever the reason, if you paid a deposit then you are stuck. You can't shorten your booking or just pay a tip and leave.

2) I would be fine paying upfront to a regular after I've gotten to know her and found her to be consistent in quality of service. It's not just about her "running away with the money". It's about my 2-hour bookings silently becoming 1hr-45 bookings. It's about "oh no! I only have one towel today we'll have to share". It's about "oh sorry I didn't have time to warm up the oil today". If you are the type of SP that I have to worry about making you feel like you still need to earn the money to ensure that I get adequate service then I won't ever pay you upfront.

3) I fully concede that there are situations that involve risk or extensive preparation for the SP and in those cases insisting on a deposit is justified. I saw the example of someone making a Saturday booking on the Friday and not showing up. Sure, but what one of my old regulars used to do instead of asking for a deposit was just not accepting such bookings the day before. I would try to make a Saturday booking a day or 2 before thinking I'm helping her plan her life, but she would politely say no and tell me to rather call her the Saturday morning because then the booking is essentially pre-confirmed. The other one was overnight bookings. Sure, makes perfect sense to pre-pay because there might be food orders that need to be organised/planned and extra preparation involved and carrying a massive amount of cash on the day is not nice. But referring back to point 2, I would never do an overnight booking with an SP I didn't know well anyway.

I will never pay a "deposit", have read to many times of punters "crying" about being scammed.

This does not only happen for 1st visits, but guys have complained about their so called "regulars" doing the same.

Even on this very thread there is a SP that's been blamed of such behaviour in the past.

Never pay a deposit unless you:

A) are turned on by being scammed
B) didn't need the money anyway
C) enjoy full balls and an empty bank account
