I had a seperate sim, but sometimes I'm not in a position to change sim cards, so I normally phone from a private number. Sometimes I phone first to find out about services and prizes, and don't want to change the sim just for that reason, especially if I don't want the booking right away, but maybe later or the next day.

I don't say the ladies must take bookings from private numbers, but just take the call and if the punter is interested, tell him to make the booking without a private number.

I have found that just short of 100% of pvt nos do not pitch. Some will call back with number showing and guess what? I usually have that number on my Care/suspect list. And sometimes I play along or give him the benefit of the doubt....and surprise...surprise!

I agree with Nadia. I have stopped taking calls from hidden numbers a few years ago and the ratio of no-shows decreased substantially. I do also state on my profile descriptive text, as well as on my website, that I do not answer calls where the number is hidden.

If your phone is on a private number and you are serious send a sms saying you will call but your number is blocked and my name is A. Nother

Your number is now visible (not suitable for those who do not want their number known) and the lady has a name to link to the private number
