I'm not saying I'm even considering it....but a monthly allowance of atleast 15 to 20k to make up for the loss of income in my point of view.... and once again, I am not interested, but that's what my going rate would be....

I think this is a good place to look actually. Many SPs want to leave the industry, they need an income while scouting for something else.

Suggest counseling though. I'm sure you'll do the necessary testing too. STDs, mental health evaluation etc

Many folk want babies and can't have, yet some who neglect kids have 7 kids they don't take care of. I'm all for surrogacy, it's a noble cause.

I don't think it comes cheap or even anything close to affordable. Good luck x

How does one put a price on the gift of giving a child?

I have been a surrogate, many years ago.... I was blessed with a very generous monthly allowance and a car, after baby was born and joined his family....
There's always a price... when a girl decides to do this kinda thing, she needs to be sensible, because there are still bills to pay, while not being able to work, and making sure you and the baby is healthy...

There's was a big amount of councilling etc... but I helped a family, that was never able to have kids thee natural way.... and I know I made the ultimate sacrifice.... it was so worth it... to see their faces, holding that precious baba, and knowing they would give their lives for him....

@Cunilinkiss... it's just a special memory that I don't just share... unless something like this subject comes up... but it was a wonderful experience, that I would never go back on, or change for anything in the world... but that being said, it's a personal choice, and it should be taken seriously, considering what it takes to be able to offer the gift of life to someone that is not able to do so.... and it's not that I'm not saying we should put a price on "life".... but there are hidden costs involved and any lady considering this must know that...
