When u sign your employment contract your salary is stated .....so u know exactly what you are working for. A month later you strike because you want more money.

The expectation is if you come with degrees (Any degree) then they must be paid accordingly, regardless of whether they can actually do the job or the degree having any relevance to the job.
Promising someone a salary increase and not honouring it is also wrong...
