We've been trying to expand for months. Very difficult to find a landlord who is okay with renting their house to a venue. Those okay with it sometimes hike up the rent considerably.

I've known of a couple of venues that weren't upfront and had to move when the landlord found out.

Seems the best long term option is to buy property. (That's what we are looking at doing).

I would think if you need to pay a rental premium, it surely makes sense to rather buy.
