Tips for a newbie - Capetown

Gents and ladies, long time lurker on your boards, I need your help, I am on vacation in South Africa, currently in capetown and sourounds for a week and Johannesburg next week. Anyway, I feel the itch to partake in one of my favourite hobbies in your beautiful country so far tried a few contacts on esa but don't seam to be getting any responses when I try to email or WhatsApp, don't have a local number. Been able to partake in this hobby in Brazil and Europe and asia which seamed fairly easy and straightforward getting someone to come to my hotel room. So far no responses and the responses I got 1 lady wanted close to 2000rand for an hour which I am not sure is good value, I accept I may have to pay Johnny Foreigner rates but also don't want to pay over the odds for what the local rate is as that messes the game up for everyone especially the local lads.
Anyway I am after some advice or tips to try and break my duck in your country before I leave, so far been trying to get wags to my hotel room a decent chain 4 star hotel, but no luck so far, a bit too chicken to go to a wags place till I am familiar with the country and also never been to a brothel or establishment in my life, just get wags to my hotel room or in my country in Europe will go to their residences, not sure if establishments might be the way to go and if so what people recommend for great service.
Anyway be gentle! Any tips or things a newbie might need to know much appreciated as keen to break my duck before I go back home.
