Another advise would be

1. Unless you don't mind spending, if you are going to a country where English is widely spoken and you don't know the language, consider taking the girl who is from the country or who can speak the language of the country you going to....I for one would not take a non Portuguese speaker to Angola as an example.

2. Insurance for her is a must. Never travel without it and always get details of her family/friends in case of emergency - and also give her your details

3. Lastly, fully brief her on the expectations from your side - and she must be clear that she is willing to meet your demands. Also consider that dates may be extended or shortened - so discuss what will happen in such cases.

Local also act as Tour guides and can always negotiate good prices for you. Its always nice to have local talent however sometimes it may be worth taking a foreigner as well - depends on the country

Some additional info, international travel here is the US, Orlando. So not around the corner. About half the time would be work and the rest up to me. A flat fee makes sense, and was considering the idea of company. Sure I could probably go local, but not sure of the quality, pricing, or dealing with the accent .

For a second I almost thought she was throwing her hat into the ring. definitely a pretty lady to have on your arm on an away trip.
