One more thought - you want to develop a long term relationship with you urologist, even if you only see him/her once a year.

If you don't like their manner or fees or the way they fingered you, try someone new next year until you get a good feeling. Not suggesting you have to have them over for dinner - but you need to feel comfortable.

Also remember that they have seen and heard everything, so feel free to discuss any of your punting related health concerns with them too!

There is no "wonder cure", be patient, trust in your doctor and his treatment, and try and keep your general condition as healthy as possible.

Know a guy thats been 12 odd years since first diagnose and treatment, can't recall if he had a relapse or not.

I was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy in January and have been going for tests monthly ( everyone one of those tick boxes on the Ampats/ Lancet forms are ticked)

So one of the tests that they do is Prostate and they can pick it via a blood test

So you can be tested without someone putting his figure up your peophol

So sorry to hear this, thank you for posting and making people aware, it's vital that men get over there fear and get tested, as you said from 45 onwards.
It's a silent killer :(
