Inspired by a delightful share from one of my Gentle Men.

She was a pretty little thing.

They said she was a street walker, a prostitute.

Every morning, she was one of the first to appear out of the blue hotel and take her spot at the busy intersection.
None of the others that followed after her ...there were three of them...seemed to feature.

Always happy.
Sucking on a lolly and taunting the drivers with her bouncy bra-less very generous boobs.
Her hair was a light blonde. Most times a huge Clip held it up in a messy niceness.
He always wondered how she managed to get her style so wrong yet, so right.

Always a tight tight dress of some sort that would ride quite high up her thighs and bums , revealing just enough leg flesh. A flashy purple or neon green....so early in the morning...and then, what many knew as "Jesus sandles".
He supposed it could not be heels, the way she ran upto cars, leaning in, her hand busy jerking off a hard dick here and there, and then a few rands given by the happy gents.

She would always laugh most heartily blowing kisses as the car drove off.

Those were the days.


Those were the days of his electronic little business on kloof road.

Those were the days when he watched a brief discussion between her and a potential visitor of the blue hotel have her skipping up the stairs , for both of them to reappear some time later, hugging as if they had known each other forever, him kissing her as he sat in his car and drove off, her standing there waving him on his way .

And this pretty little thing also happened to run errands for the front desk of the blue hotel.

She would come in nearly everyday and perch herself at the end of his desk and fill his life with colour.
A chatterbox of much happy nonsense talk and.. "did u know uncle that some people earn like fifty THOUSAND a month???? U know that man in the big green car? He told me! Uncle. U don't mind me using your pencil sharpener?"

He had one of those sorts attached to the edge of the desk that u stick the pencil in, tighten the grip and turn the handle.

"Not at all Missy. U can use it whenever u want."

...and for the umpteenth time he marveled that she had never asked to sharpen "his pencil " .

Could it be that to each other they were more than the street walker from across the road and the electronic nerdy introvert fascinated by what society shunned .

Could it be that each had found something unique and rare in each others life

A non judgemental human being who saw the person behind the societal label...the social misfit and the prostitute.

Exactly that. .societal interaction .

I wonder how many people can truly say they even care to see further than the label...and when they know the "label", do they see further than that.

I get a feeling a few get it like u do.

Thank u for enjoying . She is embedded in my head especially because of the happiness I saw in my Gents face as he spoke about her and, considering that was,many many manyyyyy years ago.

She must have been ultra special for him to remember her so fondly and happily.
