I have a habit of leaving voice-notes when people contact me and ask for opinions or advise.
I find trying to type a response loses the actual context of what i might be trying to say. Plus, potentially the receiver of the voice-note will be able to gauge better as to the gist of my message.
I always smile to myself and wonder who else has heard my messages and why.
Strangely, every message i have received from Punter or Service Provider has remained confidential and only for my ears.
Something like an NDA between me and that individual....not a common practice in the sexy space i have found.
Never has it crossed my mind to tape a conversation i might be having with another individual with the intent of using it or abusing it for ones own purposes. Only to find out that conversations i have had with others have been taped and shared.
Not that anything interesting would be heard for, i am true to self and a boring fart face that prattles on and on about whatever the conversation might be.
To be derogatory ain't in my nature.
To be insulting or tattle tale ain't in my nature.
To try bait another, ain't in my nature
....To flirt, say it as is or get all serious and discuss issues of bullying or concerns around safety tends to be the norm.
It is like espionage...everybody spying on everybody. All that might be fine...to a point... and then comes into question the sincerity of any contact made or helped asked or begged for.
What is it in this space that brings out the worst in so many?
Cut -throat competition?
Green eyed monster...or....should one question the character of the persona's occupying this space?
It is sad that one begins to shut down and ignore anybody that may be looking for help or advise.
But.
When the truth stares one in the face and one begins to realise , who the fuck is one to try and be different or make a difference, then one simply steps away and begins to "Ghost" most of the people one would have enjoyed being in contact with...even the innocent ones for one no longer knows who is real and who is not.

It is not only in this space RB. This space is no acception.
In this space I have met beautiful kindred spirits, and also sly, cunning and simply vile people.
Authenticity is so scarce, and I truly treasure those who are real. I have met some admirable here. We might not be able to change THE world, but we can change SOMEONE's world...and if it doesn't make a difference we can keep trying and be better for it.

Where the hell is that "Like" icon.I spent so many years contributing to the forum, being very vocal and trying to be positive with constructive advice. Sometimes tongue in cheek which got completely misconstrued. Now I read, but seldom comment. I realised my soul's peace is worth so much more than appeasing anyone else. When I do post, its to share knowledge or life experience or to educate, encourage or inspire. People can choose to take it, use it or lose it. The most valuable personal lesson that I have learnt... is that my silence by not commenting on bullshit posts, validates my personal spiritual growth and does not validate the BS of others.

U are cut of a finer cloth than I.
U see, having experienced a much longer career out of the sensual space where nothing came easy and a male dominated environment had me carefully winning over enemies and making them frenemies working toward a greater cause, eventually becoming strong acquaintances, I walked into the sensual space, thru a f##ked up financial decision of my own doing, with a very naive belief that things were clear-cut and defined and respect is mutual as is the existence of a code of conduct between all parties. I am not referring only to punters.
How wrong I was.
U see, when u have my background and u think u know the rules of engagement, which simply are governed by common decency...and such is lacking...dear Lesley my courage fails me and I step away.
I shall not disrespect another just because they might rub me the wrong way and thus in return, I expect the same.
Those that are real do come thru, as always...and...u know what they say about shit...?...it always floats to the top...and when u come of an age like mine, one stops being a "cow with a kind face" (here I have to say...pls pls pls I am not making any reference to you or anybody else who has the patience of an angel)... and prefers to evade a lost cause.
But....the world is a much finer place having people like u!
