It's 2am and I am STILL not sleeping.

Tell me what keeps you awake at night?

How do you manage your sleeplessness?

Tips for sleeping?

I drink supplements and know certain ones should not be taken too late.

I am aware of the blue light rule and the coffee rule.

Yet sometimes for absolutely NO reason I battle to fall asleep and switch my mind off.

Satisfy my curiosity.

Are you being chased by monsters in the dark or are you inventing or re designing something weird and wonderful in your mind?

What keeps me up: working for a California company.

How I manage to sleep: vitamins T, H and C :-D

BTW blue light is a total myth according to my optometrist. Very poor evidence for it being harmful.

I'm awake at this hour, because I went to sleep early last night 9:30pm.
I generally need 5 hours sleep, which explains my feeling rested right now - hopefully I can catch another hour or two soon...

I have no issues falling asleep. I have problems staying asleep. I wake and I'm thirsty, then I drink water, then I need to pee, then I feel peckish, then I have to pee. Then I wonder what I did with the recept for the kettle that is now broken, I swear. Its taking too long to boil. So I start looking for that and find the kettle is 2 days out of guarantee. But wait, there was the kettle I got when someone moved last year, so lets look for it NOW, 5am will be too late. Hold on, talking about kettles, I am sure there is Chamomile tea here somewhere. While we're on the subject of tea, how about a cuppa? Then I have to pee. Then I can't remember if I said good night to my mom, switch on the phone to check my whatsapp, Now its tickets. Omg, Graham sent a message that Aunty Lena, Astrid's mother-in law's brother's ex-wife is in hospital with covid ..... I thought she was dead. I wonder if Astrid's cousin is still in SA , what's his name again? I wonder if he is ok. I should have married the man. Now where is the tennis biscuits? Ok found it. Lets have it with milk. Let me put milk on the shopping list, there's only 5l left, I don't wanna run out. Now where did I see milk was on special? Ok found it, at Spar lets see what else is on special. I wonder how quinoa tastes, its on special. Look up how to cook quinoa. I still can't remember what Astrid's cousin's name is, the one who drives the white Hilux. Man, he used to live at 6 Eden road, then he moved to Sea Point. The he moved to Wynberg again 4 Rosmead.
Omg its 5 am. I need to pee and I need coffee.
And thats why I am on anxiety meds
