To me it doesn't matter. Clean is most important. Clean-shaven isn't the same as being clean. The vast majority of guys are clean, not necessarily clean-shaven.

Re: Do women prefer trimmed or clean shaven?
My whole brand and business is to encourage people to be who they are, to stand in their power and authentically be in whatever state that they feel most comfortable in.
I'm a hairy boy and I'm proud. Downstairs is always neatly trimmed though and short, this is purely for MY sake. Which is what I'm trying to get to, I encourage my clients to do them and not out of what they think may please me. I'm most pleased when people are brave enough to do them and think for themselves.
I 100% agree with BBW Nadia, clean shaved, is not always clean.
Cleanliness or lack thereof is a major deal breaker.
I have a huge thing about odour and I constantly check myself throughout the day, even if I'm not working to see if I may have an unpleasant smell. I sometimes change my socks more than once. I swap roll ons, so that my body doesn't reject it or build up a tolerance. It's a serious issue and part of the reason I've started trimming downstairs. I still have hair there, because I think it's aesthetically pleasing. But it's always short and so well maintained because I can't handle sweat on myself.
This industry has brought out or enhanced a lot of my ocd tendencies.

Re: Do women prefer trimmed or clean shaven?
I have only realised later in life that I prefer it neatly trimmed/shaved, however I never do a very good job :(
Luckily for me their are some wonderful ladies on this site that offer it as an extra and so when I am due to trim again I Will be off to see the delectable @Ms Le Roux who has guaranteed me that not only will she do a better job,(won't be hard) but that I would thoroughly enjoy it :)
