People generally do not share a cup of coffee or eat pap out of the same pot unless it is people who forms part of your household, so that reasoning is pretty much nullified.
The same cannot be said for smoking as it is more common for friends, colleagues or strangers to share a smoke.
It is impossible for govt to cover all of the angles to limit the spread and I think they are painfully aware of it. Prohibiting the sale of cigarettes will however reduce the spread by a considerable margin.

I'm almost out of vape juice. Funny enough CBD products are allowed to be sold. But i'm not desperate enough to vape CBD.
Things are gonna get rough soon though.. eish.. hope they lift this nonsensical ban on smoking.
