1. As many of you know i freelance and nobody should even consider looking at a vid of mine, never mind buy it :)) not now or ever :))
2. A very special friend of mine, recently recommended to me to "change your vibe"
3. I have received so many messages from all of you wishing good thing for me.
4. Its my birthday :)
So among the standard distant family calls there was an unknown number....long story short its folks who because of the lockdown have to change ways of working and it will imply some work i need to do for them now (from home)
The value of the work is just a bit more than my needs for a whole month!!
Why the post?
A. God is good
B. A good reference by a previous client can result in work despite being a white male (not negative just some of the things that often are given as reason why i dont get work) point here is the perpetual nature of your service quality as references are strong impactors
C. I dont know about karma and all those other factors but for whatever good wishes, vibes, prayers you sent up to me i am grateful ;
D. Good friends sometimes need to be strict on friends if we need a slap to get back on track. If i responded negatively or low energy to their questions today, i may well have 'failed' my telephone 'interview'. So its about being a friend, appreciating advice from friends and keep your energy up
E. Its ok to give even if you do not know where your next paycheck will come from. The blessings we receive are not paybacks. Its pure blessing.
F. Be grateful. Make yourself vulnerable to even your purple friends and share you had doubts but also share the significance of mercy received.
G. If your relief has not arrived yet:
Keep faith,
Support each other if not in cash or kind then in spirit .
Dont loose hope, dont let your 'vibe' go wonkers
Remember that todays service will impact on tomorrow's opportunity. The one that referred me was not one i would have guessed to have a referencing impact. Anyone can be the word to open up an opportunity
H. Thanks for all your well wishes and a shout out to the friend that keeps/kept my spirits up.
