The incubation period (time from exposure to the development of symptoms) of the virus is estimated to be between 2 and 14 days in the majority of cases.
With a lockdown of 21 days, it should reduce the risk of the infection spreading as much as under normal cicumstances.
Our disadvantage is people not adhearing to the lockdown. Continously reseting the clock to 0.
Maybe I am just to positive person by nature, but is of the opinion that we will be able to flatten the curve to a managable spread in 21 to 28 days.

People who think at the end of lock down we can leave our houses and punt away like the old days are badly mistaken.
In my opinion the risk will be no different if not higher. Anyone having a go at an individual now on the basis of them endangering other should do the same after lock down. The problem will not magically disappear in two weeks time.

It is the government's past failures that is making a lockdown difficult. Quite impossible to comply with a lockdown if you live in an informal settlement with no money.
