Contracting covid 19 twice...

Any experts who can explain this...? Can you get this virus for the second time, after recovering from it?

*** Very good question.. Indeed! Because Donald Thrump said if you had Covid-19 and got over it, you will go back by Easter to work.

There have been upto 14% of cases of reinfection.

This question made me go search for answers.
And what I have found is like any other virus. You might get infected again.
Your body would have however built up a "battle plan" of sorts against the virus. So if you do get infected a second time around you are less likely to get as sick as the first time around.
Getting infected a second time is more dangerous to people that come in contact with you than it is to you. As you might have very few symptoms and are now effectively a carrier of the virus.
Take care people.
