Hi well the way people were still punting the last few days, one would think that the virus would only arrive tonight when the bell strikes 00:00.

The virus is going to be with us for a long time and the only realistic way to address it until a vaccine is clinically trialed and released - which will likely only be next year - is herd immunity (I.e at least 60% of the population getting it and then becoming immune to it).

I - as any other punter should - completely respect any WG's decision to not work, but those are the cold facts. (By the way I'm not planning to punt during lockdown)

Just to add to my previous post: lockdown is about flattening the curve - I.e. reducing the strain on medical facilities and medical workers. It isn't about completely stopping the spread of the virus, which is practically impossible.

This is a classic case of prevention vs cure. Our borders should have been tightly secured as soon as this thing started causing havoc in Europe, but unfortunately we were too lax. The steps taken by the government since have been good though. We'll see how effective the state will be during the 21 days.

I will nver sit and cry over clients, I have had lots of video chats clients over the years. I will embarrass the lock down while I stay online video chats with my clients. Instead of sitting and crying. The damage is done.

I agree with you. We can at least still sell a online service. But when guys ask and push to see you face to face during this time is silly.
