I cannot argue with that. My logical or illogical thinking, the chances of it having reached the WG I see later today are slim. Locally passed infections are very low (could even change tomorrow) so last punt before celibacy.
I have made a few really good WG friends, and their industry will take a hammering, so will my business, I've seen it already. There is no silver bullet I just hope they can see this disaster through.
In the mean time and until this is over have a think about what happens when a loved one needs a hospital bed.
Grandad has a heart attack
Grandma's diabetes's has started to affect her feet and she needs a couple of toes cut off.
Maybe little Jimmy / Andre / Sipho or Rajen trips and breaks a bone.
Maybe you suffer a penile fracture while visiting that hottie you spotted on page 22 of the Joburg section.
Ya'll need the hospital, right? Well you'll be ok because you're man mountain. But what about Grandad, Grandma, little Jimmy, Andre, Sipho and Rajen? Are you willing to put them at risk because you think being mixture of Typhoid Mary and a rabid dog is all fine and dandy?
Look there's little chance of Grandad, Grandma, little Jimmy, Andre, Sipho and Rajen having anything happen to them over the next few months.
What about others that you choose to spread to? The strangers, the people that do what you want them to do because you have the option to pay for their services, gardeners, uber drivers, domestics, shop assistants, waiters, waitresses who will fill the hospitals because you need a pomp?
Take matters in hand man. Have a wank. You'll be fine, its quicker, cheaper and all together far healthier at present

1. Job losses in Europe are going up at a rate that is barely believable. And these are countries that have pockets deep enough and with economies strong enough to bail out their companies and support their workers to a certain degree.
They've also put in place rent freezes, mortgage freezes, small business rescue packages, etc.
South Africa is not in a position to do any of this, the economy is just not strong enough. The unemployment levels are going to be astronomic.
2. Medically the EU has a system that can and will survive. Bent, battered and bruised but standing.
SA is holding on by a thread already, medically. The only option available to get more beds is to seize the ones run privately. Even then, the beds will run out just a short time later.
They have no extra capacity to call on.. once the beds are full, it is done and the toll will shoot up exponentially with no way to put the breaks on.
Especially with the news I am seeing that the nurses unions are looking to hold SA to ransom.
3. The northern hemisphere is expecting the upcoming spring and summer to put a big dent in the spread. These viruses usually spread much faster in the winter months and if they're right then the logical conclusion is that winter is going to bring the hammer down in SA.
