Yes, it is more expensive. Yes, be careful with the Nigerians. Quality in Dubai, like everywhere else, is a function of wallet size. There are many places in Johannesburg offering substandard punts because that's what you pay for.
I've been punting in both South Africa and Dubai for ten years now. My number one and number two regular girls are both based in Dubai (I occasionally fly one down to SA). Prefer it in Dubai.
I can PM ways on going about punting in Dubai so that you don't get the sub-standard experiences :), even if you're on a budget.

Be very careful about punting in Dubai. It's still a Muslim country. I was not even allowed to hold a ladies hand in the nightclub cos I was not married to her. Security guard came to warn me. Be careful so you don't get caught or your dick will rot in the sandy desert.
