Buying a share based on the historic price remind me of Steinhoff when the share price started to fall.( Recency bias )
Good luck , I would have waited for rights issue . There is so many shares that screams value e.g. PSG ext .Sasol isn't a value buy but a bet on the turnaround. Hope your bet pays off

I think it is a great long term investment, as you correctly say 3 to 4 years and it will be back in the R400 to R500 bracket.
Sasol is not in the same space as a Steinhoff. Steinhoffs price was built on lies, Sasol is a solid company with extremely good governance in place.
