I always thought a very small % of men punt. Maybe 0.5%, maybe 1% - or maybe 5% at most.

Recently had a discussion a WG and she tought around 80% of men do.

What do you think? Love to hear from punters and WGs.
Scientific references would be great but will also enjoy your thoughts.

80% of men is an ASTRONOMICAL number!!

I think a higher % of men do punt nowadays ... much more easier and less dangerous that a couple of years ago ... social media also helps a lot to make informed decisions.

I wouldn't quite say 80%. But here's something ... of about 12 SMEs I do business with, on a personal business level, from Benoni through to Bedfordview, at least half the owners or management come to me on a fairly regular basis. We never let on that we know one another. An employee in my other business always tells me 'Die oom by xyz het gevra hoe gaannit met Antie'.

You seem to mention higher income people (SME owners). Do you think punting is more prevalent among high income earners than say middle-income men?

I find that the higher income earners are just in a position to punt more regularly, not necessarily that it's more prevalent. Kisses, Mynx

Interesting question. I also tend to think it must be a lower percentage. Pretoria has about 400 girls on ESA. Not all advertise here - let's say there are a 1000 working girls in Pretoria. Make it 2000 if you want.

Surely they cannot serve 10%+ of Pretoria men? The number must be low - or am i thinking the wrong way about this?
