I completely understand why clients are cautious about paying deposits, especially with the amount of scamming that unfortunately happens in this industry. There are definitely ladies who take deposits and don't honour bookings, and those people should absolutely be called out.

That said, I don't agree that "only scammers ask for deposits." I do require a 50% deposit when clients make bookings, and I have always honoured my bookings. There are also occasions where I accept a booking without a deposit that comes down to my discretion, the circumstances and, honestly, going with my gut.

Just this Tuesday, I had four clients I didn't know from a bar of soap who contacted me for bookings and paid the required 50% deposit. I also had two clients who preferred to pay cash, which I was happy to accept. I've built up a strong base of regular clients over time, and I believe that reputation and integrity matter far more than simply whether someone asks for a deposit.

So my advice to clients would be: don't blindly pay a deposit, but don't automatically assume that someone requesting one is a scammer either. Do your homework, look for genuine reviews and a consistent track record, ask questions, and trust your gut.

And I think clients also have a responsibility to come forward when they've genuinely been scammed. Name the person, share the evidence where appropriate, and warn others so that others can identify the actual scammers instead of painting every lady who takes a deposit with the same brush.

At the end of the day, deposits are a business practice. Integrity is what determines whether someone is legitimate.

Well believe it or not I was scammed by someone I saw regularly for over two years, asked for the next 3 bookings money up front and then blocked me, as it's been said it's a bad industry with bad people, it just depends when they are going to turn bad. Yes if your job is to suck 4 guys DICK's a day, you can't be a good person emotionally.

I think it's interesting that you've decided the nature of someone's job determines whether they're a good person emotionally. By that logic, I'd have to question the character of everyone on this site including the men who choose to use it.
You're entitled to your personal opinions about the industry, but reducing an entire person's character to what they do for work says more about the assumptions you're making than it does about me.
We're both on the same site, so I'll leave you to reconcile that contradiction for yourself. I have no interest in debating my character with someone who has already made up his mind about me. Take care.

I hear you. However, I consider all wg's that ask for a deposit a scammer. This keeps me from getting duped. Simple rule and it works. Never been scammed.

Being cautious about deposits is completely fair. Calling every provider who requires one a scammer isn't. A deposit secures a specific block of time that could otherwise be offered to another client. Clients are free not to book if they aren't comfortable with the policy, and providers are equally free not to reserve their time without a commitment. The important issue is whether the provider actually honours the booking and their stated deposit/refund terms.

Also begs for "help" with her Cat at the vet, electricity, airtime, rent, sick kid, etc etc.
