So, to be clear, in your vocabulary, personal preference equates to racism?.

Okay I'm sorry but don't confuse preference with racism. Preference (or more accurately 'your right to your preference') is your ability to choose what suits you. You can prefer chicken to fish.
Racism is someone displaying discrimination based on race. You can prefer a white lecture to a black lecture and you can prefer to only serve white people in your restaurant (your 'preference' has not been limited). The fact that you can make that choice is 'preference'. But if your preference is based purely on race; your 'preference' is racially discriminatory and thus the person making the preference is a racist pure and simple.
There no severity threshold, there's no practicality clause, your a racist.
If I, as a punter, prefer to see only black girls purely because they are black, I am a racist. If I choose to give people opportunities for job purely because they are black that is racial discrimination.
The crux is whether it's acceptable. That is between your conscience and society. Our South African society as a whole has decided that racial discrimination for jobs for previously disadvantaged people is acceptable.(which I agree with but that's just my opinion) Esa society and management as a whole has determined that discriminating against punter colour is okay. (Which I don't agree with but again my opinion). So if you don't see african gents your a racist. And if you're okay with that put ROAR on your profile and move on with your life and we will do the same. But don't pretend you live in some world where racial discrimination can be justified as a preference.
