While we don't expect tips we do appreciate them because we have costs to keep our business running so we do have to charge accordingly.

Have you been to the shops to see the pricing on those products and Any working girl can tell you that's that's not all we have to pay for.

So some understanding and consideration would be appreciated as much as a tip.

Infact I don't mind not being tipped what I mind is being haggles because they still expect it all if not more yet they don't want to fairly compensate you. But I guess that's a debate for the next time they come crying about pricing the next time.

In al my time I'm this industry I have learnt that there will always be generous gents and budget punters and haggles.

I generally don't like tipping because it has become an expectation but I, unfortunately, still do it anyway. However, tipping a WG is something I'll never do, it's for that reason that I never negotiate rates, if she's too expensive for me I don't make the booking and I live with that disappointment

Agreed! I also don't negotiate, if her price is out of my budget range i just thank her and move on!

If more guys can do this it makes it easy. However I tend to have a issue with these sometimes and sometimes being the operative word here...because then I end up with multiple enquiries and not one booking from say between 3 and ten of the same enquiry. There is this guy that contacted me in the week going back I had like 6 enquiries not one booking then I start thinking is this seriel enquirer a wanker did he get hold of days phone etc... because sure after your second or 3rd enquiry of not booking it means that I am not for you so why still come back and enquire? Rather skip past my add or block my number because repetition is all very telling...

It's not the punters who tip that are at fault, it's those particular SPs whom you've encountered for whom it became an expectation.

Tipping should be and is optional. If you feel that your Service Provider exceeded your expectations and her rates were fair for what she provided... If you can afford it, why not give a tip?

They do, I see it being referred to often on the forums. In my earlier punting days when I was addicted I would negotiate as well, I don't know how I pulled it off this one time but I called a WG, told me she charged R250 but I negotiated down to R50. I'm in a far better space financially and mentally now but how I did not become a millionaire back then beats me.
