Trolling is when a person posts deliberately offensive or provocative messages online. This fits his bill of provoking people on the forum, he loves the attention and the reactions to his provocation is for his own amusement. His words not mine.
There is only one way to deal with a troll. You suffocate them of attention. This makes this post ironic for sure but it has a point.
Let's give him the first and last bit of attention before we all begin ignoring him going forward. Everywhere he posts. Ignore. If he insults you. Ignore. If he says some wild shit. Ignore. When you see silentbanger, don't even read what he posts.
By the way, trolling correlates positively with sadism, trait psychopathy and Machiavellianism. Trolls take pleasure from causing pain and emotional suffering. Their ability to upset or harm gives them a feeling of power.
Psychological research conducted in the fields of personality psychology and cyberpsychology report that trolling behaviour qualifies as an anti-social behaviour and is strongly correlated to sadistic personality disorder (SPD).
Studies have shown that people who enjoy trolling online tend to also enjoy hurting other people in everyday life, therefore corroborating a longstanding and persistent pattern of psychopathological sadism.
