Fake police charges

Guys please be so careful if you get calls from "police".
They will seriously try intimidate you and have clever tricks.
Remember to use a punting phone (go get a e-sim or just buy one from a local cellphone repair store)
If they call, tune them in their P0&$!
Unfortunately some WG's will sell a list of client numbers to these scammers.

At least in this recent case, Truecaller came up as a legit (probably previous sim owners) number

Agreed any savvy scammer can get around that easily.
Luckily the fools are caught early, but it also means that you need to be extra weary about the ones that get through.
