This happened to me again this morning. She wants to know why her husband called me and who I am. This is the reason why I don't like sms and whatsapp chats. Call for info then make sure you delete the nr

Some guys are just too careless to be jolling and punting. No point having a punting phone/sim if you don't delete the info on it or hide it effectively. And we,the SWs pay the price, wives forgive husbands after they make shit for us by either causing a scene or calling the body corporate.
I had a case where a guy brought his wife to my door. She made a big scene and guess what? They still together. I warned another WG in the area. And yes, you guessed it, a few weeks later she gets a call from him.
I agree with you Jordan. Whatsapp and sms's is proof positive re what's going on.

Yip I have had many run-ins with wives over the years.........here are 2 of my more hectic wife encounters:

1. I once had a client quite a few years ago, who called his wife while he was still in his car and then afterwards he put his phone in his pocket. Without realizing it, he pocket dialed his wife. She heard everything, from the hello, to what went down during the booking....
After the booking he left, only to return a few hours later in his car, with his wife behind him in her car. Needless to say, big drama and I could not deny anything and I never saw the client again.

2. Another one many years ago, was a very good regular client of mine from America. He used to always book me for the whole night when in SA and paid extremely well. Anyway, one day he calls me and says he wants me to come over to his hotel, but says there is someone here who wants to talk to you, its my wife. I thought he was joking, but sure enough wife is on the phone, not friendly at all!

Turns out the wife saw regular phone calls to me on his phone and insisted on going with him to SA. She threatened to divorce him and clean him out (he was very rich) if he did not do as she said.

Cut a long story short, she was very hostile on the phone and insisted that she wanted to meet me face to face. I said to the client, no ways I'm going there as she sounds crazy, screaming and swearing at me on the phone and liable to kill me if she met me in person hey. He begged me to come and said he will pay me handsomely for my time, that she will divorce him if she does not get to meet me. So I thought ok fine, let me take the chance and see if I can help this client in saving his marriage, since he has been a good regular for years. I was shit scared though when I knocked on that hotel door. He opened the door and told me to sit down. He went into the bedroom and came back with the wife who was extremely drunk and aggressive. I calmed her down by staying calm myself and running her husband down (in front of him) and eventually managed to convince her to have a long bubble bath to relax, whilst I sat next to the bath talking to her. I massaged her neck and shoulders, showed lots of sympathy and remorse and left after she was about to pass out from all the booze. The next day she called me to apologize and then gave the phone to the husband, who thanked me for coming over to meet his wife and sorting things out.

They remained married and both remained in contact with me, with her even inviting me to go cruise the Caribbean with them on their yacht for a few months with full pay, but I declined the offer as I was too shit scared that she may accidentally on purpose push me into the ocean and after that I never heard from them again.

I don't think clients understand what shit we go through trying to cover for them. I won't tell the lady anything. At the end of the day.. that client pits food in my mouth and a roof over my head.... that said... after they been caught out they don't come back for years or even never to be seen.

To be honest, whilst a big part of my motivation was to help the guy, it was also to help myself, in that I could hear that she was the type that would stalk and harass me, if I did not pitch up, plus I have to also admit that the handsome amount of dollars offered, for sorting out his marriage issue, was another motivating factor.

Yes clients do not realize what we go through. When wives phone me, I generally tell them the client called me to get a quote, in relation to my other business, so I do cover for them, even though I have not even met some of them. But at my old age, I have to admit that I'm getting gatvol of having to cover for men who I often even do not know and have not met.

Maybe if I start being honest when the wives phone, the husbands will start catching a wake up and take better care when cheating on their wives....
