I'm in a bad state right now, in fucking tears and my number 1 pet hate is now officially the Slaughtering of animals in a residential area..

I typed a whole venting essay about it here, but then decided against it. I think it is time for me to reactivate my blog again, writing has always been my shrink and today I definitely need to see my shrink!

From today I will be. I did not need to witness this and hear the screams for more than 1 hour. My whole day is now fucked up and I can't stop crying.

When I was younger I went to an abattoir to watch the process of where my food came from. I felt if I could not stomach seeing it or doing it myself then I'd be a hypocrite being ignorant and eating meat.

As it turns out I was fine with the whole process.

From a health perspective I'm not sure how appropriate it is to do so in one's back garden. Why don't you call the health department I believe they take that sort of thing seriously , as it is somewhat of a serious health matter if your neighbours are slaughtering animals in the yard.

Well I take my hat off to you, for being able to witness that at such a young age. Yes I agree that I am a hypocrite for eating meat all these years knowing where it comes from, because I can't stomach seeing an animal being slaughtered and prefer not to even think about it. I love animals more than I do humans and do not like to see any animal suffer or being abused. This animal went through absolute hell for 1 hour before the end. It is the first time I witnessed something like this and to be honest, I do not think I will be able to eat meat ever again, after seeing this.

The neighbors apparently have a permit to do it, so the slaughter could not be stopped.

No, looked like a small deer or a small goat.

In all seriousness I would go ask for that permit, and check it out because there's no way I'd be "ok" with that carrying on around me.

A permit is one thing but health and hygiene standards are another. If an abattoir has to be licensed I'm guessing there is a minimum standard of hygiene needed and I'm sure a back garden doesn't cut it. (terrible unintentional pun)

Also basic respect for other people must be severely missing if you think it's fine to be so oblivious to the noise and disruption the activity causes.

Personally I don't like people, they are selfish, arrogant, opinionated, idiotic sheep and I prefer just being alone.
