I thought it will never happen to me. What an idiot, after years of using a punting phone and burner sim I got lax and used my personal cellphone to make a booking and it turned out to be scammers. They have my full name, where I work, my address and my wife's full name and contact details. I'm being blackmailed for a huge sum of money and it's relentless calls and threatening messages. Fortunately I'm connected to a big biker club that's working on it for me but there's no guarantee they won't send the screenshots to my wife, if they do my marriage is over. Guys don't be a fool like me, get a punting phone and burner sim before you land up in my situation. If anyone knows how to handle the entire situation please message me

Whatever you do dont pay a cent. Disable all your social media as thats where they get all the info from once they have your name.Rather spend that money on a investigator. Go to the police. A reminder to not share yourself so willingly online. The rest of you should make sure that your social media isn't so accessible and connected.

Clean up your digital footprint and for godsakes make sure you pay attention to your privacy settings on all your social media handles.

I got a call from Captain Nkosi a few days ago and then a message from Hawks (lol) but they got all the wrong details because I've removed almost all my of my online presence and created fake profiles to throw people off... I just laugh at these dom naais when they call me.

Also never tell people your real name just make up a fake one. Some of yall are way to naive and relaxed to be doing illegal activities...

Think about it for a second. You really believe whatever their first payment request is, that they'll leave you alone once they receive the money? No buddy, once you're on the hook, you're on the hook until you've paid the very last cent you can access. And then they will or won't send it to her anyway.

Now, let's say you get lucky (which you won't), how will you explain that you've drained your savings, credit cards, or whatever else? Or sold way too many things to get more money, etc etc? You think your wife won't eventually notice that?
