It finally happened... the so called "police" phoned me and said i have "x" and "y" cases opened against me from service providers

I just put the phone down there.
I can see why some guys freak out, it catches you off guard and it sounded like a legit Afrikaans detective oom.

Don't bother with the number. They keep switching them out like punting SIM's so no use everyone adding a random number just so you can block it.

Just mark it as cop scam on Truecaller and block it and everyone else can do the same if they get calls.

I haven't had one in awhile, maybe word is getting around i take the piss out of them ... Even offered to send a PIN code last call so they could pick me up.

Spent the evening dealing with one. They even gave me a landline number of the CT police station, WhatsApp profile address shows he was in PTA, name is the name of a lawyer in PTA. But he had all the right words. Language was terrible, but that doesn't mean much.

And yet you guys don't bother thinking what girl sold your info for mere R2k...
