To the naysayers, this is an offer, which if it appeals to you make contact with the OP, if not skip along, no one's forcing you to bite

You make an excellent point (and if I am ever in Gauteng when you have a get together, I would relish an invite)
I think the ladies may be trying to explain the lack of response to the OPs seemingly really cool invitation.
All of us take a bit of a risk on a first meeting. Some try research to the highest order, others go in blind and have amazing (or awful) experiences.
I think the point being made (and one I am sure you will understand and possibly agree with), is that Sodwana is quite remote and not that easy to leave without your own transport. A week is also a long time alone with a complete stranger. Things could go really well, or really badly - and if badly, it will be difficult for either party to extricate yourself from the situation.
What you organized involved several guys and several ladies and if a participant did not click with one person, there was likely to be several others that they got on really well with!
So take the comments as a suggestion to the OP or other punters who may be thinking of something similar in how to approach the situation to achieve a more favorable outcome!
Good luck with Mayhem III and as I said, if in Gauteng - I would love an invitation!
