Lets assume your business or what ever u do is on a central website or in our case a few websites. Lets say u sell baked beans and u are on a website where clients go onto and look at 2000 diff cans of beans and yours is one of them cans. Now we talking competition. If your phone rings wont u grab it cause it could be a potential client or wil u leave it for the next day. Im sure u wont have a 100 messages waiting for you. They wil just call the next person next to your picture of a can of beans
Sometimes we in the shower and the phone wil ring u jump out just to answer it just to have someone breathing heavy on the other side of the call. So yes. Maybe become one of us and see what we go through
With all this said we are open 24 7 so we do take calls. Mostly whatsapp messages. Not realy calls. Messages are actualy easier cause u can reply to more than one person at a time. Most of the clients got in the habit of let the phone ring a bit then say hi on whatsapp. I like that. Because u cant wake up if your phone just go beep beep. Those guys are actuly serious in making a booking.

I do however agree that there should be a limited to the number of messages during such a request from the punter.

I don't have much flexibility during the week to get away and an SP you are interested in may not always be in your area. A lot of venues and SPs are also unavailable on the weekend.
So in my case I would first have to check my work schedule a few days or even a week in advance and make a plan to get out of the office, then call an SP to line things up. Then you still have to factor in that sometimes an SP won't be able to accommodate you or her prices don't line up with you, so you may be calling a few SPs.
I don't doubt there are dodgy guys and time wasters out there, but it would be silly for an SP to assume every phonecall/message that doesn't turn into a booking is a waste of time and it would also be silly to turn people away that want to book in advance. We don't all have the luxury of being able to pick up the phone and make an appointment the same day.

It seems that you are not actually disagreeing with us. All your points show that a text whatsapp is far preferable to a phone call and the fact that you can answer it later at your convenience is a really good thing.
BTW I have dealt with you guys on WhatsApp and you were great, I was not complaining about you at all. You were polite and respectful and answered all my questions even though there were quite a few. I did make a booking, though it was only a day so later
